Friday afternoon plans just changed… (at Lucky Boys)

TBT-Palm Springs, 2015.

Part of a series meant to drive a narrative, I shot @thenudechef and @hushandshoot as a couple who finds themselves dealing with relationship issues while on a roadtrip. The series begins after they have stopped a motel for the night and have realized that their relationship is at a crossroads.

@eliotthephoto directing a shoot in the pool at our motel location. @rnicholsonphoto and I joined forces for the day and helped each other execute our wild ideas. Eliot’s involved flying a 12X12 silk over the pool and using the production as his backdrop. It was a fun shot and took some help from @mattyande and @morganbellinger flying the silk and standing in as extras :)

I had the pleasure of photographing Ben Davis (@bendoeslife) a few months ago. Ben was in the middle of a 3,100 mile journey across America on foot, with all his belongings in a baby stroller. I photographed him when he came through Kansas City on a cold and rainy day, and the results speak for themselves. Special shoutout to @rnicholsonphoto for the assist.
